Folk På Samsø is an evolving group of musicians who create improvised music subverting genre definitions. This tape release acts as a time capsule, capturing the band’s first 3 sessions, revealing that the sound which defines the group today (now with 36 releases), was there from the very first moment they began recording.
The cover is a woodcut with letterpress text. The tapes themselves are reused, dubbed and duplicated by band members. A printed insert offers original album titles, artwork and song names.
